Built for the 1983 F1 World Championship, A6-4 was driven by Marc Surer throughout the year, and continued to be used in the 1984 when Surer and Thierry Boutsen drove the car. – Boutsen taking the car to a best 5th place finish in the distinctively liveried Barclay / Nordica car.
Owned since 2009 by its current owner, the car was completely rebuilt in 2009/2010 by F1 Storiche in Italy, including rebuilding the engine and gearbox.
The car been maintained over the last few years, and had a new crack test in January 2014, the fuel cell is valid until Feb 2015.
The engine and gearbox have only 600kms (375 miles) of running since rebuild and are therefore in very good condition and able to be used and raced immediately.
An ideal entry for the FIA Masters Historic F1 Championship in either the USA or Europe, this car also has a comprehensive spares package including wheels, tyres, suspension and bodywork. Complete with all paperwork including FIA HP papers, the car is taxes paid in the EU.
