Lotus Twin Cam 1600cc Engine built and bought from Shanahan Specialty Works. Fresh Dyno Time! Rob Shanahan is a professional engine builder for 30 years and built this to run in his own car (1965 Lola T60) but have now decided to run the original Cosworth SCA instead.
The specification of the engine “as built” is as follows.
83.5 mm bore and stock 72.75 mm stroke. 188 hp at 8000 rpm. Torque: 131 ft lbs at 6500 rpm
120E6015 Cylinder block with square main bearing caps fitted.
