PORSCHE 962 KREMER FOR SALE
1989 Kremer Porsche 962 CK6-02 in original Kenwood livery. The engine is a low hours 3 litre water-water unit utilizing the Motronic MP 1.7 management system.
It has a Thompson/Kremer Carbon fibre chassis for ultimate rigidity and safety.
After its successful racing career in the 1989 / 1990 World Championship with Kremer Racing, during which it never failed to finish, the car was subsequently sold to a USA based collector.
Its only use in the USA was in historic demonstrations before being sold to a UK based collector in 2004 who subsequently campaigned the car in the European historic Group C series.
The car was then sold, in 2009, to a Belgian collector. The car was once again fully prepared by First Motorsport , including crack testing, etc, in 2009 but was only run once in a demonstration event. It was then purchased in 2012 by the current owner.
The engine currently has run for approximately 6 hours. Porsche 962 motors can run for at least 30 hours and this one has been run at low boost and has been in very good hands so should be good for several seasons use before needing the normal precautionary attention.
