In 1982 the team Stratagraph decided to compete at the 24h of le Mans with two Chevrolet Camaro. For its first participation the car n°81 made more than crossing the finish line ! The Chevrolet Camaro n°81 finished at the second place and was really close of winning the 24h of le Mans. In the following years the team Stratagraph kept competing with this incredibly fast and reliable car taking the win at the 24h of Daytona and 12h of Sebring finishing respectively 6th and 8th overall in front of many prototypes.
The drivers who raced with this Chevrolet Camaro are also well known Gene Felton has been enrolled in the Georgia Automobile Racing Hall of Fame, Terry Lebonte was named as one of Nascar’s 50 greatest Drivers, in 2015 he was named in the Nascar hall of fame.
Today the car has been completely renovated and is now ready to go back on track. This is the perfect car for those who are looking for a competitive classic car capable of winning any race. This Chevrolet Camaro will certainly be eligible in races such as Le Mans Classic.
