This engine was built starting from the 3.2-litre M30B32LE unit. The stroke of this unit was maintained at 86 mm, but the bore was increased from 89 to 92 mm, with a consequent increase in the overall displacement to 3430 cc. A Motronic control unit was installed. The power was of 218 HP at 5700 rpm, with a maximum torque of 320 Nm at 4000 rpm.
